
The Podiatrists Board of Queensland is the body responsible for the registration of Podiatrists in Queensland. Before a person in Queensland may practise as, or hold themselves out to be, a Podiatrist, he or she must first register with the Board.
The Board is the statutory authority established to enact the provisions of the Podiatrists Registration Act 2001, Podiatrists Registration Regulation 2002 and the Health Practitioners (Professional Standards) Act 1999.
Podiatrists also have legal obligations under the Health Act 1937 and the Health (Drugs and Poisons) Regulation 1996.
